Since 1955, the International Bakery has offered the freshest, best tasting baked goods in London, Ontario. They had scaled significantly over the years by offering products in their own store and grocery stores across southwestern Ontario.
After decades of using the same brand, International Bakery was ready for a new identity. The fresh, new image would fuel their growth and expansion. The new brand essence and identity would come to life through the opening of their new flagship store.
As a family-run business, the new brand needed to honour the family’s Italian heritage – integrating the past, present and future. At the same time, it had to resonate with a loyal customer base and appeal to new customers.
To effortlessly blend tradition with modernity, the International Bakery’s updated look and feel captured the timeless spirit of quality. Building on this powerful idea, we developed a logo, business cards, stickers, social media images, and the signage for the flagship store.
The menu had become the most important marketing tool for the International Bakery. It’s what their catering customers used to make all of their orders. In creating the new menu, textures, typography, imagery, and colours were considered to visually appeal to customers and showcase the quality products available.
The International Bakery’s website was designed with the user experience at the forefront. It had to be easy to use and navigate, while at the same time have a striking design that showcased the irresistible, mouth-watering treats available at the bakery.
The website evoked the feelings a customer would experience when in the bakery surrounded by fresh, hand-made, delicious baked goods.
